Welcome to Howling Leathers.
I’m Jamie, founder and maker behind every piece we create.
Like many people, I grew up when quality mattered. Products were built to last, repaired instead of replaced, and made with pride. Over the years, I watched more and more everyday goods become disposable. I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s why I started Howling Leathers.
Every bag, satchel, tote, and accessory is handcrafted in our small Northern California workshop using premium full-grain leathers, quality hardware, and traditional construction techniques. Rather than rushing products through an assembly line, I build each piece with patience and attention to detail, creating leather goods designed to serve their owners for decades.
Leather is one of the few materials that truly gets better with age. It develops character, records the adventures of its owner, and tells a story that can never be duplicated. No two hides are exactly alike, which means every piece we make is genuinely one of a kind.
Our goal has never been to make the most products. Our goal is to create leather goods we’re proud to put our name on—pieces built to serve their owners for decades and, we hope, be passed on to the next generation.
