Welcome to Howling Leathers.
I’m Jamie, founder and maker behind every piece we create.
I grew up at a time when quality mattered. Products were built to last, be repaired instead of replaced, and made with pride. As the years went by, I watched more and more of that disappear. I decided to build leather goods the way they used to be made—one at a time, from materials chosen to last for decades.
That’s why I started Howling Leathers.
Every bag, satchel, tote, and accessory is handcrafted in our small Northern California workshop using premium full-grain leathers, quality hardware, and traditional construction techniques. Rather than rushing products through an assembly line, I build each piece with patience and attention to detail, creating leather goods designed to serve their owners for decades.
Leather is one of the few materials that truly gets better with age. It develops character, records the adventures of its owner, and tells a story that can never be duplicated. No two hides are exactly alike, which means every piece we make is genuinely one of a kind.
